This dutch quintet from Zwolle was founded in Sneek in 2010 during a jam session and consists of singer Vincent Bergsma, drumplayer Mira Burgers, guitarist Vadim Neef, bass player Ilse de Vries and on keyboards Sander Moorlag . The Cool Quest has been nominated or awarded with regularity. For instance, the band was named ‘Best Soul & Jazz Talent’ by Radio 6 in 2014, as well as ‘Best Group’ and ‘Best Live Act’ at the Radio 6 Soul & Jazz Awards 2015 and nominated for the Frisian Popawards 2015, furthermore, The Cool Quest was named 3FM Serious Talent 2015 and the band won the 2018 Popprijs Overijssel. Between 2014 and 2024 the release almost 20 singles and 2 albums.
