After the dissolution of “Caledonia Blues Band,” and after a brief hiatus, Quique Bonal, guitarist and also a member of Caledonia, and Mingo Balaguer decided to reunite to form a new band, “The Blues Machine,” which began to take shape around June 1996. Their own songs and covers are featured on an album in which the West Coast sound is clearly evident.
