About The Big Bang

There are more than one band called The Big Bang. 1) After Slyder made one more record in 1984, drummer David Petratos left the band in the mid-eighties to join Detroit's The Romantics, the band changed their name to "The Big Bang". They made an album called "Broken Dreams" on the Palm Records label, touring until they split for good around 1990. 2) Blues band from Fargo, North Dakota. Originally called the "Bad Medicine Blues Band", the group was renamed "Jonny Lang and the Big Bang" after then 12-year-old Jonny Lang joined them. After Lang's departure, new lead vocalist Michael James joined the band and recorded the album "Easy" in 1997.
