About Folksongs for the Afterlife
Folksongs for the Afterlife is a Brooklyn, New York-based pop band headed by Caroline Schutz (vocals, guitar, keyboard) and Chris Sizemore (guitar, samples, sequencing, vocals). More recently, Steve Toole has joined as a permanent member on guitar. The lineup also includes Chris Deaner, from Versus offshoot Plus Minus, on drums; David Gould from The Bootleg Remedy, on bass, and occasionally, Chris Seeds from Art Tankers Convoy on keyboard. Their first full length recording, Put Danger Back in Your Life, was released in May 2003.
