The Happy Fits is an American band comprising Calvin Langman, Luke Davis, Raina Mullen, Nico Rose, and previously Ross Monteith. National fencer Monteith and orchestra nerd Langman didn't exactly get along in high school. However, a chance conversation about the success of Youtube cover bands brought the two together. Their mix of rocking guitars and electric cello created a unique dynamic, blending their love of rock artists like The Black Keys and folk bands like The Violent Femmes. Working on covers grew tiresome, and an emotional break-up soon inspired them to write their first song together. The resulting music produced a youthful and chaotic frenzy of catchy melodies and raw instrumentals. When they recruited professional gamer Luke Davis to add his stylish flair to the band on drums. In 2024, Monteith was announced to be leaving the band, so Rose and Mullen, previously touring members, joined as full members in his place. They have begun being featured in songs starting with tracks from The Happy Fits' 2025 album "Lovesick."
