About The Rollicks
The band was formed in Seattle by University of Washington students B. Nels Anderson (guitar/vocals) and Vanessa Gill (guitar) in 2001. Guitarist/vocalist Dan Hagen from Spared No Expense joined shortly thereafter. They went through a series of bassists (Eric Nesheim, Josh McKibben) and drummers (Barry Johnson, Alex Bourdages) before ending up with Levi Pena and Kevin Belford following the departure of Vanessa Gill and Alex Bourdages in early 2005. In 2005 they recorded a 19-track self-titled LP in the basement of Nels' parents' house by Green Lake, followed in 2006 with a ten-song, 16-minute EP entitled "16 Minutes You'll Never Get Back." The Rollicks played music that they liked but nobody else seemed to and now they don't play at all.
