About Teenage Joans

Teenage Joans is a Pop Punk duo from Adelaide, South Australia. The band consists of vocalist/guitarist, Cahli Blakers, and drummer/vocalist, Tahlia Borg. The band formed in late 2018, their first gig being with fellow Adelaide band, The Hard Aches. The band’s first single was By the Way, released in November of 2019. Their first official project, Taste of Me, was released 2 years later as a follow-up to the singles, competition, placing in that year’s hottest 100 with Something About Being Sixteen, Ice Cream, and Wine, which were featured on the EP. In 2023, their debut album, The Rot That Grows Inside My Chest, was released in November of that year, following up their soing Three Leaf Cloverles, Super Glue, Candy Apple and 5 Things I Can Taste. The album was also accompanied by a short film released a few months later onto YouTube.
