About Team Syachihoko
チームしゃちほこ (Team Syachihoko), now known as TEAM SHACHI, is a Japanese female idol group consisting of four girls from the city of Nagoya. The group was formed in 2011 as a sister group to ももいろクローバーZ (Momoiro Clover Z) and 私立恵比寿中学 (Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku) under the Stardust Promotion talent agency. They officially debuted live on the streets of Nagoya in April 2012. Team Syachihoko's first major-label single, ザ・スターダストボウリング (The Stardust Bowling), was released on October 31, 2012, on the Warner Music Japan record label. On October 23, 2018, the group's name was changed to TEAM SHACHI.
