Bio: The award winning Tango Project was formed in 1981 by Michael Sahl and William Schimmel, as a recording project for Nonesuch Records. Since then, with Violinist Mary Rowell, the bare-bones trio has excited and thrilled audiences with their live concert and club performances. "The playing is impeccable in accuracy, verve, and dynamics," says SPIN magazine. "The balance is perfect so that each instrument adds its own distinct voice."
