About Tadeusz Wozniak
Tadeusz Wozniak (born March 6 1947 in Warsaw, Poland) is a Polish musician, composer and vocalist. He debuted on a Radio Song Festival in 1966 using the pseudonym Daniel Dan in a band called Dzikusy. As a guitarist, he played in Niebiesko-Czarni and with this group he recorded his first pieces for the radio. His debut as a composer was in 1967 by writing music for poems by Julian Tuwim, Bolesław Leśmian and Konstanty Ildefons Gałczyński. Since 1968 he often appears solo singing his own ballads and playing guitar. He also composes music for theater and movies. The height of his popularity was in the late 60s and 70s. He created music for over 200 songs, almost 100 theater plays, TV theater, poetic and artistic programs and animated films. His music was used by Elżbieta Adamiak, Michał Bajor, Anna Chodakowska, Bernard Ładysz, Andrzej Poniedzielski, Krystyna Prońko, Zbigniew Wodecki, Wojciech Malajkat, Jolanta Majchrzak, Krzysztof Majchrzak, Locomotiv GT and many others. Even though his music was a part of theater plays, it was also awarded on many festivals. He received prizes for his music to Wesele, Odprawa Poslow Greckich and Mistrz i Malgorzata. He appeared in several episodes of a Polish soap opera "Plebania".
