About Sur-rur
A finnish independent/undescribable punk-rock trio formed in 1996. Sur-rur combines the intensive and uncompromising punk core with elements of narrativity, lo-fi and psychedelia. The end result is an unparalleled mixture of multi-layered expression, humour and pure energy. They have released three lp's, three ep's and other material. Their third full length album was released september 25th 2009. The new material starts off from the well-known melodic sur-rur punkrock and ends deep in landscapes of drama, delirium and weirdness. Even a touch of harmony and spirituality besides a steadily diminishing aggression. "A story of a goodness around which everything should circle, but which is concealed."
