About Sungsang Lebam Telak
Sungsang Lebam Telak, in short SL*T, formed in Bandung, west java, indonesia, in late-2005 and early-2006. it consist of Ageng (vocal, bass, piano, and drum), Gembi (bass, piano), Dani (drum, piano, vocal). there's no such meaning behind the name of the project, unless it draws a sort of dizzy and in-a-mess plus the complexity of anything. this is an open project, anyway. "open" in SL*T means every person in the band can give his idea freely (yes, absolutely free) and there are no rejection of the idea. then, every person in the band can choose every instrument that they want to play. further, SLT made a jazz music in indonesia looks like a "snob" or "stupid". this band concepted their image comprehensively. from the name of the band, the title of the composition (they chose "composition" since "song" is less representative word for the band). in every of SL*T gigs, they always read a manifesto that ends with an one magic sentence "musik kalian jelek! musik kami bagus!" (your music is bad, our music is good!). Apparently, all of SLT's composition's was made by jamming methods.
