About Stinx

There is more than one artist with the name Stinx: 1. A fictional girl group created in 2000 for the "Just Think About It" advertising campaign by NHS Scotland, targeted at young people to convince them to quit smoking. Their only single "Why do You Keep on Running Boy?" was released in Scotland in 2000. It went on to sell over 10,000 copies and reached #8 on the Scottish singles chart. 2. A Ukranian rock group, Stinx were formed in 2005 after the hiatus of psychobilly/garage band Bastard & The Projectiles from Chernigiv, Ukraine. Its leader Yura «Utiug» left for Kiev and decided to create there new music formation. He found a new band-friend – guitar-player Volodymyr “Che” Cheremys (SosiSKA). And in a few weeks band started to play at different gigs. Stinx play music which is really unique for Ukraine. They revive rock-n-roll traditions, mixing them with melodic street-punk and punk77. Add to this “punk-oi-billy” cocktail great technique, tons of positive mood and enormous drive and you will get the “Stinx” sound. Best choice for those who love “Sex, Beer and Rock-n-Roll”. https://www.facebook.com/stinx77 https://stinx.bandcamp.com/ https://myspace.com/stinx77 https://soundcloud.com/stinx-punx/
