"Based on strong bass lines composed on Moog synthesizers from the 80’s, the songs include some guitar tracks just to emphasize melodies. The band deliberately composed an album with a dark and melancholic universe to relay a quite pessimistic vision of human relationships. The songs’ lyrics deal with love breakups, the fear of growing old, rage that is satisfied and homosexuality. The album title refers to the limits of the human being to perceive their inner breaking point. Voltage measures electric tension and tension occurs in an individual’s body when they feel intense fear of being mentally or physically hurt. The album shows that sometimes, such tension is out of control and triggered off against someone else, just like the effect of a bullet."
