About Starmetis

Starmetis was a Latvian indie pop/new wave band formed 2009 in Cēsis, Latvia. They experimented with live and electronic instruments and do not placed themselves in frames, but were free to let the music dictate directions. In 2013, the band released an EP called I Like People. Starmetis earned recognition from several local music critics and melomaniacs. The band broke up in 2017. Final lineup: Andris Tereško - guitars, lead vocals; Ilze Ģērmane - bass guitar, backing vocals; Līga Tereško - synthesizers; Kārlis Zagorskis (Kasetes) - drums.
