About Slowwves
Slowwves is a Thai alternative rock band from Bangkok. Members: Vocals: Jill Guitar: Peem Drums: Jump Peem (guitar) got to know Jill (vocals) by chance over his friends and listened to a song she wrote. From that moment on, making music together began. Shortly later, Jump (drums) was added, who is also a student at Silpakorn University. Their music is can be described as shoegaze and has lots of reverb and ambient sounds. In 2025 they released their first album "Perfect Evasion". This album serves as a continuation and expansion of the themes explored in the single 'Anywhere Else'. While that single laid the emotional and sonic foundation, the album takes those ideas further—diving deeper into the feelings of isolation, longing, and the desire to escape, while also exploring new textures and soundscapes.
