About Sky Sucahyo

Nasadira is Sky Sucahyo, Sadar Pratama, and Desiree Aditya, who met in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Sky, who usually spends her time writing songs on her guitar and keyboard, accidently met Sadar and Aditya and started making music together. In 2011, they began calling themselves Djörr, and they recorded their songs passionately in Sky’s dorm room. They gather the confidence to post the songs on the internet and share it to friends and family. After getting positive feedbacks from people, they decided to continue creating songs, even with Sadar’s tight schedule, who at the time was graduating from college. In 2012, Sky moved to Bandung to attend college, and Sadar and Aditya moved to Jakarta. Being so far apart does not stop them from working together. They kept in touch through emails to exchange recordings and ideas. The idea to change their name from Djörr originated when Sky offered a new concept, on which Djörr didn’t really stand. They then decided to change the name to Nasadira on June 2013. Nasadira is a portmanteau created from Nasa (Spain) which means vase, and Dira (Sanskrit) which means habit or forte. With this name, they hope that Nasadira can be where their thoughts and talents can be contained.
