There are at least 4 bands/artists called Sirius B. The currently most active one is probably the Brazillian / future jazz act consisting of Joe Cavanagh and Azhar. They Have released 6 albums, the most recent one being Bagunca on Freestyle records. They have enjoyed a lot of popularity in Japan, where all there albums have been released by P-Vine records. They have also appeared on Many compilataions, played Live alongside Joyce, Caetano Veloso. Joe and Azhaar, have been the creative heart of Sirius B, but have also had some superb Soloists guesting on their work. Notably Gareth Lockrane, Iain Ballamy, Mike Mower. Consisting of Ian Barrett and Alan Harvey, another Sirius B are from Leeds and have been in existence since the beginning of 1982. Concentrating mainly on recording they've been compared to anything from Cabaret Voltaire to Hawkwind, Sirius B in fact retain a certain charm and individuality that is quite refreshing.
