About Sinprophecy
Sinprophecy was founded by Sayed Ragai and originally started in 2010, though its roots trace back to a reunion in 2009. Initially, the band performed under the name "Harmony Violence," playing covers of various bands such as Korn, Jungle Rot, Ektomorf, Hatebreed, and Slayer, among others. The original lineup consisted of Sayed Ragai, Amr Fadaay, and Youssef El-Qushairy. However, the band eventually went on hold and nearly split up. Despite this, the passion for music remained, and we decided to revive what we had started. This marked the rebirth of the band under the new name Sinprophecy. With this new identity, Elave (Amr Salah) joined the band, taking it to a whole new level of professionalism and inspiration. During their weekly jam sessions, the band began writing and composing their own songs, preparing for their first performance. They auditioned at Sakia El Sawy, and the audience’s reaction was overwhelming. People went crazy, not even realizing it was an audition, and began gathering around due to how amazing, professional, and musically strong the band was. This response showed the band had significant potential. Later, after performing for a while without a bassist, Omar El Baroumi joined the lineup. Following this, Youssef El-Qushairy departed, and Hani Sami Zaki stepped in as the new drummer. A significant addition came when Nur Azmy joined the band, introducing keyboards for the first time. This brought a fresh atmospheric element to our music, expanding our sound. Later, due to personal circumstances, Elave left the band. Following his departure, Sheva joined as the new guitarist, continuing the band's evolution. . --- About Sinprophecy Sinprophecy is Egypt’s first Melodic Death/Doom Metal band dedicated to playing 100% pure original music.
