AL-Azif is a Melodic Death metal band Was initiated by" Mafia" ( Lead guitarist/composer ) & " Tarek" ( bass guitar/ lyrics ) in 2009 & then was joined by ZAK ( VOCAL ) to start jamming & recruiting members when they were joined by "Zink" ( Drums ) and Moustafa " ( Keyboard ) to start working on the debut album & was joined later by " Hatem " ( Rhythm guitar ) , and due to personal issues "Zink" was replaced by "Mohamed AL-Assal " ( Drummer ) to complete the set and fire it up to be one of the very very few Melodic Death Metal bands in Egypt ........ Description -------------------------------------------------- Al-Azif: **AKA (The Necronomicon) is a fictional grimoire appearing in the stories by horror writer H. P. Lovecraft and his followers. It was first mentioned in Lovecraft's 1924 short story "The Hound", written in 1922, though its purported author, the "Mad Arab" Abdul Alhazred, had been quoted a year earlier in Lovecraft's "The Nameless City".
