Shyama is a solo recording artist who fuses orchestral and electronica with edgy alternative rock. His music does not seem to fit into any particular genre, the style of music morphs a number of times over the course of his debut digital release, ‘Nine Moons Walking.” On this concept album Shyama paints a portrait of nature through the eyes of ignorance, passion and goodness. He approaches music more as a composer than a musician allowing his work to traverse a wide spectrum of moods. The music resonates the extremes of the human experience; dizzying highs shadowed by sobering lows. His thought-provoking lyrics promote a concentrated examination of the human condition. ‘Nine Moons Walking’ tells a tale which allegorically expresses and reflects Shyama's journey from punk to monk and beyond.
