About 折戸伸治

Shinji Orito (折戸伸治, born July 30, 1973 in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan) is a composer and arranger. He learned to program electronic instruments when he was in high school, but worked in banking and computer/game programming before pursuing a career in music. He worked for a number of video game studios (Visual Art's, Tactics, and Leaf) early in his career. His first soundtrack was released in 1996 as part of the game "Shizuku". However, he is perhaps best known for the soundtracks he created as a member of Key Sounds Label, a studio that creates music for video games produced by Studio Key (Kanon, AIR, Clannad, Tomoyo After, Little Busters!). He has additionally branched out to providing soundtracks for animated TV series (Onegai Teacher) as well as releasing collections of his collaborations with other artists (circle of fifth).
