About She's Got Claws
Female solo musician, writing, programming & producing electronic music in her own studio. What you hear is what she has created; no other musician is part of this project, not even a single drum loop! Vocals are multi layered and effected to create a tone similar to a robotic voice without the use of auto tune. The choruses are ladened with synth hooks which work themselves around the vocals. Fractured beats, synth hooks and robotic style vocals; this is the sound of She's Got Claws. From releasing her self-titled debut album in 2012, SGC is about to unleash another release in 2015. This is a 4 track concept EP called 'Synthetic Emotion'. Expect some surprise changes to her electronic sound! She's Got Claws is a songwriter whom also engineers and produces her songs at her own studio, Mechanical Studios. She is receiving fantastic feedback and recognition from fellow electronic artists such as Andy McCluskey (OMD) whom asked SGC to create a mash-up for OMD, which you can listen to on OMD's Website, called I Think Radiowaves. This is a mash up of OMD's song Radiowaves and Micci's song called I Don't Think So. "Each song is a perfectly crafted window into her soul" Andy McCluskey (OMD) SGC's influences: Gary Numan, Ladytron, Hot Chip, John Foxx, Kraftwerk, Ultravox, Human League, Hurts and Air.
