About The Ed-Maniacs
The Ed-Maniacs were a 1930s Dutch jazz band led by trumpeter and vocalist Eddy Meenk, who came to prominence when he joined the Dutch jazz band The Ramblers. The Ed-Maniacs best known recording dates from May 1934 when the band played for Philips. Philips had a colonial Dutch East & West Indies broadcasting service known as the PHOHI (Philips Omroep Holland-Indië) and from this collaboration came about the radio hit, In Holland staat een huis (PHOHI clublied).
