Senior citizens (from the Netherlands): Senior Citizens finished their debut album “Verbal Cavalry” in 2011. The album contains eleven songs about life and cons of becoming of age. As they’re specialists in the subject they give their fellow sufferers and everyone else a clear true and a little bit ironic view in this world as they see it. For recording and mixing of “Verbal Cavalry” they collaborated with Niels Hermes, composer and keyboard player of Ten Sharp. As the members of this band served their duty of feeding themselves and their loved ones, they think the time is right to make an entrance in the world of beautiful music. They give a slightly different look at what they were and are doing on this planet accompanied by very nice music. As they all have favourite bands and surely are influenced by them, they’ve managed to create a fresh sound for everybody, young, aging, and old. All songs and lyrics are written by Marc Brandjes. Senior Citizens resides in The Netherlands, to be more explicit Landsmeer and near surroundings. Senior citizens (from Sweden): The temporary special-assignment-band. Four guys from Kalmar, Sweden needed an assignment for graduating gymnasiet (swedish high school). Since writing an essay about the world of today was out of the question a temporary band was gathered and the result was a 3-track demo, named "Demo april 2002", naturally since it was finished in april 2002.
