About Seek Irony

Seek Irony is a Modern Rock group of 5 young, very talented musicians based in Tel Aviv, Israel, founded in 2001 by brothers Kfir Gov (lead vocals - 26) and Rom Gov (Drums - 22), along with Yoav Volansky AKA "Jove" (Electronix and keyboards/Sound Engineer - 25), Eran Muntner (Guitars - 24) and Daniel Strosberg (Bass/Sound Engineer - 26), who joined the band in 2004. Seek Irony has a very unique sound combining Modern Rock with Electronica music. In 2005, the band's outstandingly different sound had brought them to sign a Production Deal with Famous American Multi Platinum Producer - Sylvia Massy Shivy - (Tool, System of a Down, Skunk Anansie) and was invited to record an album at "Radiostar Studios" - Mrs. Shivy's studios in California. Following the recording of the band's album in the states, Seek Irony had caught the attention of several Major newspapers/Music Industry Webzines/Radios/Rock magazines, locally in Israel and abroad. In April 2007, the band's song "Tech'N'Roll" had been featured on one of Fox Sports leading programs - The Best Damn Sports Show - on prime time National American Television. Seek Irony's latest controversial single, "Everything We Are", co-written and featuring Rab Zgheib, frontman for Lebanese Metal band, Blood Ink, has captured both the media's, and music lovers' attention around the globe. "Everything We Are" is being spinned on 102fm (TelAviv Radio), 91.8fm (Galgalatz Radio), Radio "Darom", and had been chosen "Hit of the Week" by 106fm - Israel's students' radio. On top of that, it had also topped college radio charts in the USA and went all the way up to #3 on college radio charts in Louisiana, USA, while competing with the best artists in the world. Through out the past year, apart from performing all around Israel and building a huge following of devoted street teams and fans, the band has been spending a lot of time in their new studios ("Keos Studios" in Tel Aviv- owned by Kfir and Daniel), writing and recording over 50 new songs. Seek Irony is in the midst of planning its long awaited first official album release. More info soon to come...
