About SalmeKlang
SalmeKlang combines ancient folkmelodies and religious texts from all over Europe. Their music has a strong influence of that "Nordic Sound", and is also mysterious, sensitive and powerful. The main goal is to build a bridge between the old material they've found, and the sounds of today. They've said that "we wish to breath life into these old songs, and let them enlighten and thrill people once again". SalmeKlang got together spring 2008, and released their debutalbum in february 2010. 2012 saw the release of their second album "Himmelveg". The album included the single "Eg er ein gjest i verda" with folk singer Kim André Rysstad on guest vocals. The band takes a step forward with this album, and went on a succesful tour in 2012 and 2013. Visit www.salmeklang.no for more info.
