About Sadık Gürbüz
Sadık Gürbüz (d. 10 April 1950, Keçiköy, Gümüşhacıköy, Amasya), Turkish folk music artist, singer, composer and actor. He graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law. Sadık Gürbüz is known as one of the leading names in Turkish folk music. The artist, who worked at City Theatres until 1976, was dismissed from his job for political reasons that year and never returned to his old job. He composed music for plays during his time working in theatre. Sadık Gürbüz also composed the music for the films Kara Çarşaflı Gelin (1975), Kaçak (1982) and Şaşkın Ördek (1983). He played the character named Yani Baba in the movie Misi, which was made in 2005. He played the character Derviş Baba in the 2006 film Eve Giden Yol 1914. He played the character Hacı Şerif in the series Kardeş Payı which started in 2014 and ended on April 30, 2015.
