S.P.S (neboli Snížená pracovní schopnost - Low working ability), czech punk band. S.P.S was reformed in Prague in 1988 from ex-members band named Defekt (cz, '87). In beginning of 90s the band called attention because of conflict with skinheads. Lyrics of S.P.S comes up from local, czech problems and reacts on momental situation. That's why some older lyrics can be marked as out-of-date. Lyrics are very often political. Music comes from classic punk picture such as Clash, Dead Kennedys and Exploited. You can also hear some elements from metal. In 1993-1994 band considerably changed its line-up. The most famous song is "Ruská". It's cover of Russian folk music Priamurskije partizany, in czech known as "Skal a stepí divočinou". Original version is about Soviet partisans. Version from SPS is about Soviet ocupation in 1968. (bastards).
