About Roundhouse
The name Roundhouse or Round House has been used a number of times. (1) was a Japanese band; (2) was a Swiss band that released one album in 1972. (3) was an American band that released Handle with Care in 1976. See also Round House. Roundhouse (1) (AKA Round House) was a Japanese band that played a style of instrumental music related to both symphonic rock and jazz fusion. They released Jin-Zo-Ni-N-Gen in 1978 and recorded Wings to Rest in 1979 (though it was not released until later). In 2001 the band reformed with somewhat different personnel and recorded a live album, Live @2001 in Osaka. Roundhouse (2) Roundhouse was a Swiss band formed in Zurich 1969. A brass Jazz-rock band, notably inspired by Chicago, though generally closer to the Emergency sound. They released 2 LP's ('Scuse Me & Down To Earth). Roundhouse (3) was the former name of Doc Holliday, a blues rock/southern rock band from Macon, Georgia.
