Roshini was born in Trichy, India to a proper Tamil family. Her parents are Dr. Joseph Kaliyaperumal and Mrs. Lucy Joseph. She did her schooling at Trichy up to the 9th Std. Then afterwards, her family moved to Chennai. She did the remaining of her schooling at Chennai. She is a B.E Graduate in a Computer Science Background. Guinness Record Roshini along with her sister Anita performed the feat of 'singing non-stop for 37 hours', which fetched them a place in the Guinness Book of World Records.
