About Roosbeef
Roosbeef is a Dutch band, rooted in the Dutch town of Duiven but currently based in Antwerp, Belgium. Roosbeef was formed (in 2002) and is fronted by singer and songwriter, Roos Rebergen. Rebergen stresses that she is not Roosbeef, even though the name refers directly to her given name. Roosbeef is a band. She claims: "Roosbeef is not my lyrics set to music. The music is just as important as the lyrics - and it's the band that creates the song." Rebergen describes their style as melodic pop music with a raw edge. Between 2015 and 2020 Rebergen moved to rural Kentucky in the United States. She returned to Antwerp in 2019.
