He has played in many bands and under many guises, but is perhaps best known for his solo work as a songwriter, producer and performer. Robin's ever-changing live band plays guerrilla gigs around Bristol and beyond, and in between shows, he scurries down to his basement studio to continue to generate a prolific outpouring. Robin's poetic lyrical voice, soft vocal and fumbling guitar style lend a melancholic, folky undertone to an otherwise expansive and boldy diverse catalogue of songs. Robin has developed a growing fanbase thanks to a fun, creative approach to live performances in his home town, and he has made connections to a global audience through being featured on internet compilations such as the notable Mercedes-Benz Mixtape. Robin also uses the pseudonym Cock Robin, fronts powerpop/rock outfit Absent Me!, and has been linked to the secretive electronic artist Mystery White Boy.
