About Ritchie Blackmore

Richard Hugh Blackmore (born in Weston-super-Mare, April 14, 1945) is regarded as a highly influential and respected English guitarist. He was a founding member of Deep Purple who went on to form his own band, Rainbow. He then co-founded Blackmore's Night with Candice Night, a platform that enables him to excel at renaissance acoustic folkrock as he had previously done at hardrock.
