Rinôçérôse (stylised as rinôçérôse or «rinôçérôse») is a French band founded by Jean-Philippe Freu and Patrice Carrié. The group combines elements of rock music and electronic dance music. Both members are also psychologists and have described themselves as “psychologists by day, musicians by night”. They compose music in English, French, and German, and are based in Montpellier in the Occitanie region of France. The single "Le Mobilier" brought the band wider international attention within the dance music scene. The song "Cubicle", from the album "Schizophonia", was used in a television advertisement promoting Apple's iTunes and iPod. "Schizophonia" represented a stylistic shift for the band, emphasising a more accessible rock-oriented sound compared with the more ambient electronic style of their earlier releases. The album also features a greater use of vocals than previous releases, which had often contained minimal or no lyrics. The band later released a self-titled greatest hits album, "Rinôçérôse", which is distinguished from their debut album of the same name by the presence of diacritics in the title. The compilation includes songs such as "Bitch", "Cubicle", "Music Kills Me", and "My Demons". In 2024 the band released the studio album "Psychoânalysis". Their song "La Guitaristic House Organisation" was also included on the soundtrack of the video game "NHL 2000", published by EA Sports.
