About Reviu
Review is a bulgarian rock/ new wave band from the mid 80s. Review began to make history in the far year of 1985 when Vasil Gurov, Dimitar Voev and Kiril Manchev established the band "Kale". The first public appearance of the band was in 1987 at the First Sofia Rock Festival. However, after the 3rd single, the microphones were turned off and the musicians were forced down of the scene. The reason was that the songs were too bold for the time. But that's exactly what made Kale a legendary band. In 1988 Kale disbanded just to brought together again under the name of Review. In 1989 Review records a cassette album including emblematic songs like "Unkle", "Ala-Bala", "Without Address" and "Flowers From The Late 1980s". The band won many awards and became famous to bulgarian and foreign audience. During the 1990s Review had been doing attempts to record another album. In 1998 when it is almost finished, unexpected circumstances occured and the band had to stop the recording sessions. In 2001 Review came back and released the album "Ten" (in bulgarian "Deset"). The pilot single "Breakfast" was the sign of the great return for the band. It was applaused by the audience and the critics and nominated for "Best Song" in 2002. At the moment Review is preparing a new album and making shows in Sofia.
