About Raft Funk
There are at least two artists called Raft Funk, or rather: two different artists that have released at least one of their tracks under the name "Raft Funk" 1. The artist who has made their tracks available on last.fm is a downtempo / trip-hop / electronica band formed in 2010. They have so far released 4 songs, all of which are available for download on last.fm. 2. Raft Funk is also a cover project from MECADO, a company which sold various compilation CDs around 1997. To reduce copyright costs, and thus make their CDs available for a lower price than standard compilation CDs, they put self-made remakes on their CDs, and for these cover versions they chose artists names that resemble the name of the original artists. Raft Funk was used for a cover of Daft Punk's Around the world.
