About Mink15
Mink15 are a down-tempo trio from the Shropshire/Powys area. They formed 2007 in Shrewsbury. Their sound is often characterised by the use of double bass, Wurlitzer electric piano and shakers, along with funky 'wah-wah' guitar and Ash Molloy's versatile vocals. Although they are a 'triphop' band, their sound often heads into indie and /or reggae directions. The players are Rob Kearns, Ash Molloy, and Andy Cotterill. Their debut release was Sickening Love, followed a month later by Moth In My Ear. An album is expected sometime late 2010. Their Official sites are at music.mink15.com and blog.mink15.com
