Reliqa is an Australian alternative-metal band. Their first release was in 2018, and have consistently released music onward into 2021. They do not shy away from experimental sounds, and describe their 2018 single Earthbound as "[bridging] gaps between metal and other experimental genres", and their 2020 single "Mr Magic" as "alt-prog". Out of Sydney, Australia, young alternative act RELIQA are quickly becoming a household name within the modern progressive metal industry. Unrestrained by conventions, the band are taking their songwriting to sophisticated new heights and are eager to grow with the support of an exciting new team. In just a few short years, Reliqa have well and truly begun garnering the attention of a dedicated fanbase, having shared the stage with a host of iconic acts including Sevendust, Northlane, Thornhill and Void of Vision, and are set to continue their exponential growth spell performing at the coveted Monolith Festival in 2022. The band are making their highly anticipated return with a new single, ‘Safety’, featuring Sean Harmanis of Make Them Suffer. Arguably their heaviest offering yet, the track is a testament to the band’s versatility, skill, and individuality, making it the ultimate showcase for their brand new EP ‘I Don’t Know What I Am’, just announced for a September 16th release.
