About Quentin

There's more than one artist going by the name Quentin. 1. Quentin (any pronouns) (formerly known as Quentin Arispe) is a visionary queer artist and performer from Texas (United States of America) whose work blends raw emotion with striking visuals and fearless self-expression. Known for a daring aestheticand spill-your-guts live performances, the artist first commands attention with their voice — a powerhouse instrument that is soulful, emotive, and remarkably agile. Beyond the spectacle, their art explores identity, empowerment, and transformation, creating spaces where vulnerability and power coexist. 2. Quentin was founded in 2002 in a small village near Salzgitter, Germany by Sebastian Loersch (vocals, guitar, flute, mouth organ),Lars Kraume-Fluegel (drums) and Rene Roepke (vocals, guitar), who left the band in late 2005. The current bass guitarist is Tommy Steiner who joined them in 2004. First, their music was a kind of Independent-Rock influenced by Franz Ferdinand and others; then, their music turned more and more into BritPop. In 2005 they reached the Germany-Final of the Emergenza band contest. At the moment, their 2nd CD is in post-production.
