The southern oriented rapper embraces his music and his lyrics of grinding, haters and other elements people can relate to. His background, grass roots Louisiana, and living in Arizona and Houston/Amarillo Texas. Quon had previous recordings that never gained national recognition but did build his profile as an artist. The track “Incredible” was featured on Houston’s number one station for Hip Hop, The Box. The local exposure paid off as he opened for artists such as Nelly, Trillvile, Mysitkal, Mack 10 and Chamillionaire .Quon has recorded with major artists such as Paul Wall, E 40, Lil Keke, and Stat Quo, under the rapper name Young Quon. Now Quon comes harder than ever with his latest album “Way Mo Major”. “Way Mo Major” is an expression on how far Quon has come up in the industry. This album delivers the southern flavor with sharp urban tracks. “”Way Mo Major” the title track is sure to have major requests, the follow up “Go Hard” is a take no prisoners theme .
