About Proxima Centauri
Proxima Centauri may refer to either a band centered around Helsinki, Finland, or an electronic music DJ and producer from the USA. Band centered around Helsinki, Finland. Started in 2002. Floating in varying states of activity and inactivity. Has succesfully failed recording new material since 2004, though a bunch of unreleased songs exist and new ones are being written on and off. Older material tends to be in the vein of sunny day real estate or at the drive-in. Some changes in the line-up in 2005. Keyboards still haven't made it on tape, except for some live-cuts that may float around there. Hopefully something new coming during 2007.
