aka The Portable Sunsets. Portable Sunsets is the project of artist and electronic music producer Peter Segerstrom. Portable Sunsets was started in San Francisco in 2003 on the net label http://flatflat.org. Flatflat.org was originally to release only 3" cdrs and then moved to free mp3s. Peter uses max/msp and a monome from http://monome.org in conjunction with other software to create textural improvisatory hallucinogenic music that is oriented towards the natural world while still being created for a club experience. Nature Garage is the first release of 2010, soon to be followed by the Ordinary Shock Ep and the Coasts Ep. Peter lives and works in New York. http://flatflat.org
