About Planet Graveyard

PLANET GRAVEYARD is a Metal trio from Tampa, Florida. They've been compared to Soulfly, Prong, Static X and S.O.D. They're best described as a "mix between the middle finger and gravel," or "an oil slick that comes to shore." They often infuse amusement in their songs because they, "can't write good lyrics." After many years of denial, they finally embraced it and wrote "Shut Yer Yap," and "Mitzelplik," to name a few. The band consists of CUTOLO (The Guff, Daybreak, Liverbaby) on vocals and guitar, CARINO (Fester, Death, Lowbrow) on bass and DUBOSE (Machine House Opera, Dreadknot, brownhillspirit) on drums. They formed in late 2009 and will release their first album, Planet Graveyard on JUNE 15, 2010. The album was engineered, mixed produced by Mike Cutolo at Rezinland studios, Tampa, Florida. The Planet Graveyard album will be self released by the band. Look for them in June on iTunes, Amazon, etc. They are actively trying to acquire a recording and/or distribution deal. All metal/rock shows worldwide are seriously considered. Look for them on tour this summer. Contact band@planetgraveyard.com for all band related business.
