About Philip Clemo

Composer, film-maker and artist Philip Clemo’s work has been described as “mesmerising” (The Times, UK), “immersive” (Mojo) and “nothing short of beautiful” (All Music Guide). During the past 17 years, Philip Clemo has released five critically acclaimed and genre-defying albums in collaboration with world-renowned musicians including BJ Cole, Henry Lowther, Pete Lockett and Cleveland Watkiss. Since his fourth album, The Rooms, Philip has worked closely with veteran sound engineer/producer Phill Brown (Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley, Robert Palmer, Talk Talk), and the duo are currently in the studio working on a new project. Also a visual artist, Philip has made a series of short films which have been shown at festivals around the world. Most recently, he has been filming in Iceland and Norway with the support of Arri Media, and attracting the attention and support of David Lynch producer Joni Sighvatsson and Francis Coppola producer Fred Fuchs. This work has become the driving creative vision behind his Breath Project, encompassing a non-verbal feature film and multi-sensory art installation.
