Leif Einar Valdemar "pepper" Pettersson, born June 29, 1953 in Lindesberg, Death 28 May 1988 in Forsa, was a Swedish accordionist. As early as four years old he began playing the accordion, but before he became a full time musician, he worked as a roofer and lumberjack. In the 1970s he had his heyday and toured all over Sweden with various bands, including the group Upplänningarna, and also did a number of great performances in Norway. On several occasions he participated in television programs, including the SVT Nygammalt. At the opening ceremony of the World Cup 1974 in West Germany, he appeared as the representative of Sweden with Family Four and two musicians in the show.
