About Passive Progressive

Brothers Elliot (1978) and Harris (1981), the two behind the guise, ironically greet the dance music scene from Lubbock, Texas with their debut single ‘Hide Away’ released on Armada’s S107 Recordings label in early 2009. This song received plays from the top DJs in the scene, including Above & Beyond, Tiesto, Ferry Corsten, and Armin Van Buuren in particular. The duo can be heard playing a variety of dance music behind the decks. From progressive house to pumping breaks and driving techno: each set is distinctively special. Whispered about on the street and described as the equivalent of ‘luxurious fine dining for your ears,’ Passive Progressive’s unique approach to electronic dance music is lush, original, and deliciously organic in both their productions and DJ style. Their smooth straightforward beats, quirky synth stabs, and laidback ambiance can sound at home in a big room venue, yet also fit perfectly in a more intimate party atmosphere.
