About Chaqueño Palavecino

Oscar Esperanza Palavecino, better known as Chaqueño Palavecino, is an Argentinian folklore singer and composer. He was born in the town of Rancho del Ñato in the department of Rivadavia, in the Chaco region of the province of Salta. Having started working at a young age to aid his family, Palavecino embarked in his musical career in his mid-twenties, around 1984. Since then he had a long trajectory, his hugest hit being «La Ley y La Trampa», and has been recognized as an Argentinian folklore icon.
