About post-hudba

Based in Prague/Brno, Czech Republic, post-hudba (lit. post-music) started as a noise pop duo, but soon emerged into more melancholic, dreamy piece of an electro-pop band. They call their genre 'existential pop', and although no-one knows what exactly that means, you can be sure it's made rather for listening than dancing. The band, consisting of producer and multiinstrumentalist Tom and singer/songwriter and lyricist Domingo, is around since late 2011 and has gained certain attention to date. They have released two home-made EPs, which you can download for free from their bandcamp, and are currently working on a debut LP (to be released early in 2013). Post-hudba build its image mostly around lyrics, often reflecting states of emptiness, anhedonia and fragility of a human soul. While musically they draw inspiration from dream-pop, London electro scene, trip-hop and sometimes even dubstep, the lyrical influences clearly come from the likes of Aidan Moffat, Owen Ashworth or Mark Kozelek. posthudba.cz post-hudba.bandcamp.com/ bandzone.cz/posthudba
