About Oxford Comma

Oxford Comma is a now-defunct musical project of New Hampshire satirist Joseph "Jowi" Meli. His current project, Jowi Stinks!!, has replaced Oxford Comma permanently. Fueled by a tongue-in-cheek false arrogance and pretentiousness, Oxford Comma was an in-your-face freak show of overproduced electronic music with heavy punk influences. Featuring Meli's signature roadkill-screech, the music of Oxford Comma is notable for its incomprehensible, often highly explicit lyrics (available for reading in the Lyrics section of the music), contradictory messages, and jarring instrumental effects. The first EP, Commanist, became available for listening and free download on March 9, 2012. Oxford Comma's second release, the Asshole With Angel Wings EP, appeared not too soon afterward on April 25 of the same year.
